There are a number of eruvim in the Chicago area. Maps of eruvim are included for the
information of those planning on visiting Chicago for Shabbos. It is strongly advised that visitors check with the eruv hotline on Friday afternoons to verify that the eruv in the area one is staying
is valid that Shabbos. We also urge visitors to check with local Rabbonim concerning the precise boundaries of each eruv if you will need to walk on any of the boundary streets. Click here to

All cRc retail bakeries (including Dunkin Donuts - Devon & Kedzie, Zelda's and Breadsmith in Skokie) are Pas Yisroel.

Trader Joe's label on breads bearing the cRc" Bagels, Challah, Honey Nut Bread and French Boule are all Pas Yisroel. The Gluten-Free breads and rolls are not considered Pas.

Industrial bakeries that are Pas Yisroel include:
Al-Khayim (small regular size pitas only), Bulldog Bakery, Eli's Cheesecake (dairy, cholov stam),
Kronos Pita, Natural Ovens (only when bearing a cRc on the label), Nutrilicious, Neuman's Bakery (Dairy, non-cholov Yisroel), Today's Temptations (some dairy as labeled; cholov stam)

All other industrial bakeries are assumed to be NOT Pas Yisroel.

cRc RETAIL bakeries that are Yoshon include:
Bagel Country, North Shore, Zelda's

Bakeries that are NOT Yoshon:
Breadsmith, Dunkin' Donuts, Shalom Bakery, Today's Temptations

Bakeries that are Yoshon include:
Main Pizza (all products); Tel-Aviv Pizza (pizza only)

Other restaurants may offer Yoshon on certain items by special request. Speak to the mashgiach on
duty for details.

Caterers have Yoshon available only on special request.
